Truly you have formed my inmost being;
You knit me in my mother’s womb.
I give thanks that I am fearfully, wonderfully made;
Wonderful are your works.

You are heirs of the prophets,
The heirs of the Covenant of the Most High
Made with our ancestors when God told Sarah and Abraham,
“In your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Blessed are those who find their strength in you;
