A reading from the first book of Paul to the Corinthians.

The cup of blessing which we bless – is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ?  The bread we break – is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?  Because the loaf of bread is one, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.
