A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.

Jesus said:

“My sheep hear my voice.

I know them,

and they follow me.

I give them eternal life,

and they shall never perish.

No one shall snatch them out of my hand.

God who gave them to me is greater than anyone,

and no one can steal from God.

God and I are one.”
