A reading from the book of Revelation.

From John, to the seven churches of Asia: grace and peace to you from the One who is, who was, and who is to come, from the seven spirits before the throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, the ruler of the sovereigns of the earth.  Jesus loves us and has washed away our sins with blood, and made us a royal nation of priests to serve God; to Jesus, then, be glory and power forever and ever.  Amen.

See the one who comes amid the clouds!
Every eye will see,

even those who pierced Christ
All the peoples of the earth

will weep bitterly.

So it is to be! Amen!

God says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the One who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty!”
