SUMMARY:First Sunday Collection - One Iowa
DESCRIPTION:The proceeds of our November 5th “First Sunday” collection will benefit One Iowa.\nOne Iowa is a catalyst for improving the lives of LGBTQ Iowans. First Sunday donations will help provide trainings for people who can’t afford them\, often in the workplace. This year\, One Iowa has trained over 4\,500 people\, resulting in many positive workplace changes\, anything from adding pronouns to email signatures to adding a gender-neutral bathroom. In addition\, One Iowa trains healthcare providers to improve knowledge about how to be affirming to the LGBTQ community. This work is more important than ever due to the ban on gender-affirming healthcare for those under 18.  One Iowa also often provides training to churches.   For more information on this organization\, please visit https://oneiowa.org . \nCHECKS SHOULD BE MAILED TO:\nDMIEC\, P.O.
