The garden is located in the ‘backyards’ of both St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church in West Des Moines and can be seen along Ashworth Road. In 2019\, Faith & Grace Garden donated over 12\,700 pounds of fresh organic fruits and vegetables to feed hungry people throughout Polk County. \nLast year\, a large greenhouse was built near the garden to grow food year round. We need several volunteers to be available about 5:30 p.m. and everyone else to arrive by 6:00 p.m. so we can make assignments\, get the foods set up\, and be ready to serve at 6:30. Serving will be completed about 7:30 p.m..
