SUMMARY:Central Iowa Shelter Meal
DESCRIPTION:Foods will arrive already prepared from the Johnston Hy-Vee. Volunteers needed to assist in serving and hospitality/fellowship. Serving begins 6:30; several volunteers needed about 5:30 and everyone else by 6:00\, so we can make assignments\, get foods set up and be ready to serve on time. Serving completes about 7:30. Envelopes will be available for donations to the Des Moines Area Religious Council Emergency Food Pantries. Write checks to “DMARC” or place cash in the envelopes and add to the collection basket. Or\, feel free to take an envelope home and mail donations directly to DMARC. \nImportant Note: You can double your impact during April thanks to the Douglas M. Woods Challenge Hunger Campaign. All donations to DMARC are matched dollar for dollar up to $20\,000.  Your $10 becomes $20\, $50 equals $100 and so on. Just $10 helps DMARC provide 40 meals this month.
