SUMMARY:First Sunday Collection - Annunciation House of El Paso\, Texas
DESCRIPTION:Since 1976 the volunteers of Annunciation House have sought to serve the poorest of the poor. Today they serve migrants and refugees fleeing from Central and South America. Most days ICE and Border Patrol drop off 500 to 1000 people at any of the 8 locations around El Paso that Annunciation House supports. All of this work exists only through the generosity of many volunteers and donations from as close as El Paso or as far away as New York. Find more information at the Annunciation House website. Checks may be made out to DMIEC or Sisters of St Francis\, who will pass our donations on to Annunciation House through Sr. Terri Rodella\, a supervisor at their largest facility\, Casa del Refugiado.
