SUMMARY:DMIEC Spring Clean-Up
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our annual Spring clean up of the DMIEC grounds.  We will be raking leaves\, cleaning garden areas\, pruning\, picking up tree debris\, etc.  We’ll also be mulching garden areas\, depending on availability of mulch. \nWe will need rakes\, pruners\, wheelbarrows\, and Des Moines yard waste bags\, so please bring what you can. SUMMARY:DMARC Emergency Food Pantries Sunday Collection
DESCRIPTION:Since the third Sunday of April falls on Easter\, we will have our DMARC collection on April 14. Envelopes will be available for donations to the Des Moines Area Religious Council Emergency Food Pantries. Write checks to “DMARC” or place cash in the envelopes and add to the collection basket. Or\, feel free to take an envelope home and mail donations directly to DMARC. \nImportant Note: You can double your impact during April thanks to the Douglas M. Woods Challenge Hunger Campaign. All donations to DMARC are matched dollar for dollar up to $20\,000.  Your $10 becomes $20\, $50 equals $100 and so on. Just $10 helps DMARC provide 40 meals this month.
